The IWC Pilot’s Replica Watch Chronograph Top Gun Edition Lake Tahoe is a very fun and handsome timepiece. With its bold black and white monochrome theme, it quickly became the most talked-about. That’s cool.
The Tahoe watch is a special white, but it is also a special ceramic texture. Not polished or brushed, the finish is more “satin” and looks and feels great. One problem is that the ceramic case material seems to wear out. Ceramics Cheap IWC Replica are often valued for their scratch-resistant properties, so this is something many consumers may not expect. Sometimes the wear will rub off, but others will be more stubborn.
IWC will likely go with this case finish, as it is more attractive and more masculine than a polished white ceramic case. IWC Replica Watch went for a special look and feel, and one downside is that this ceramic case – at least in my brief experience – is not as durable as most ceramic case watches.
There is a beautiful simplicity to black and white objects. I wish IWC Replica Watches US would go a step further and remove all visible metal elements. Tahoe has steel chronograph pushers, crown and strap deployment clasp. I’d prefer the elements come in matching black or white, especially at this price point.
IWC Pilot’s Swiss Replica Watch Chronograph work well because they have the visual appeal of many pickup trucks. Masculine yet conservative, they feel active and a little wild, and at the end of the day are also admittedly practical and versatile.
I can’t help but feel that this watch could slim down in most ways and still be very effective. I’m not saying the case should be narrower, but it seems like the case could be thinner, as well as the strap. I know part of the appeal here is the bold size, but given the relative pedestrian 60m water resistance, the case could easily be thinned, and I’d love to see IWC Replica vs Real keep this wide watch, but make it thinner.
The case of the IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Top Gun Edition is 44.5mm wide and approximately 15mm thick, with a lug-to-lug distance of approximately 54mm. Above the dial is an AR coating and a domed sapphire crystal, and the screw-down caseback is in steel. The odd thing about the dials of this series of watches is that only the four hour markers (12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock, except for the hands) have luminescent bodies.
Attached to the case is a white rubber strap with a matching inlaid white textile-like section. The Famous Replica Watches strap looks cool, but I found it to be quite long for my wrist. Not only would a design like this accommodate almost any type of black or white strap, but given the neutrality of a black and white case, you could pair the watch with a watch like a Lake Tahoe with any color strap you like, and it might work. .
Inside the watch is one of High Quality IWC Replica in-house movements, the 69380 automatic movement with time, 12-hour chronograph and day/date complication calendar. At first glance, the layout looks like the more common Swiss-made ETA Valjoux 7750. The self-winding calibre 69380 operates at 4Hz and has a power reserve of 46 hours. It’s a very nice movement, but in this case we didn’t see the display caseback.
